Feedback for our Philosophy tutors from previous students

"Susanna has been a godsend for my lazy son. He`s really opened up and focusing on his philosophy topic a lot better."
 Feedback for Susanna
"Excellent, extremely knowledgeable and patient tutor. Very concise and clear explanations and leads interactive and focused sessions. Always attentive to detail and willing to ask and answer questions."
 Feedback for Rishav
"Will helped my son with philosophy and maths. Will is passionate and enthusiastic helping my son catch up with maths as his school had missed out on many sections of the curriculum. I would highly recommend Will. He makes learning fun and even now when my son no longer has lessons with Will does ask whether or not he can just `chat` with him about philosophy."
 Feedback for William
"Yasser was very friendly and knowledgeable. He has a very effective way of teaching where he uses multiple different examples or ways of explaining topics which make even a tricky subject like philosophy understandable. Always on time for meetings and clearly has a very full understanding of the subject. I have no hesitation in recommending him as a philosophy tutor."
 Feedback for Yasser
"Maria is a very good tutor, she makes everything clear whenever I am unsure and she has a great sense of humour too!"
 Feedback for Maria
"Shak is an amazing tutor. He has taught many of his classmates, both through secondary and university, assisting them in a variety of subjects. He is very easy going, lighthearted and jovial. With everyone he comes across he is kindhearted and patient, which is very important for teaching. "
 Feedback for Isabella
"Polly has worked for my educational agency in London as a tutor for the past year and we have received excellent feedback. Polly builds a good relationship with all her tutees, developing their confidence so that each session can be as productive as possible. She prepares fully for all tutoring sessions and believes in a structured tutoring approach to enable the student to gain the most out of their time, placing emphasis on the importance of properly understanding key concepts as well as focusing on exam technique. She is attuned to the different needs of her students and tailors her approach to the personality and learning style of the individual, for example ascertaining whether visual, written or oral methods are more effective. Polly is patient and sensitive and will diligently go ov..."
 Feedback for Camille
"Jack has been incredibly helpful since the very first day we started working together. He doesn`t just coach me on my work, he motivates me, and helps me organise my workload to keep me moving forward. I would sincerely recommend him to anyone who wants to improve in philosophy or essay-writing."

Philosophy is reputed to be one of the toughest A-Levels to study, simply because of the sheer number of theories and ideas students have to take in. Saying this, it is also one of the most interesting though. Philosophy is a specialised subject and those that take the course often have a career in mind when they star - careers which include working as a philosopher, psychiatrist, lawyer, politician, civil servant and any other profession that requires clear and logical thinking. At college students of philosophy often take politics, religious studies, law and psychology as well, depending on the career they want in the future.
