"It`s very easy to give Hollie a five stat tutor rating and I have no hesitation in recommending her as a perfect maths tutor. I`m a mature student, who needs 4/5 grade, for a University Degree course due to start in September. I signed up with an on-line company (very expensive) and quickly became overwhelmed with the new Maths syllabus. I only had six months to re-learn a subject I didn`t excel at whilst at school - I knew I needed help especially with Algebra! After an on-line search I found Hollie through Tutor Hunt. We exchanged a few emails before meeting up in February, this year. Happily, Hollie was everything I wanted in a tutor: she has an amazing knowledge of maths, a reassuring way of making maths accessible (after a 27 year break!) and an endless amount of patience as well as good humour. Hollie also went `above and beyond` her tutor role: I had emails of extra work with clear workings out (all beautifully presented), texts of support and extra practice papers so I could check my progress. Hollie even texted me the night before my first exam, whilst she was in Croatia! I have now sat all three exams and I am pretty confident that I will get the required grade. I am also pretty confident that I would not have been able to do this without the tutoring from Hollie. Hollie is a superb, her love of Maths is almost infectious - I will miss our Saturday morning sessions - she made an `intimidating` subject less daunting and at times it was even fun! I never thought I would say Maths could be fun and that is down to Hollie. My daughter will be sitting her GCSE`s next year and I now know if she needs extra support, I can contact Hollie.
