I have been tutoring maths GCSE for 6 years including group sessions and 1-1 to a wide range of students. All my foundation students have achieved a grade 5 and all my higher students have achieved a grade 6 or above.

Achieving a 7 in maths GCSE, grade A in maths A- level and I am now studying Finance,Accounting and Management at Nottingham University which includes mathematical modules.

My technique is ensuring strong basic maths foundations before moving onto the complexities. Building the child’s confidence is extremely important so firstly I teach them the method of the question through showing an example , then I guide them in questions until they can complete them independently before moving onto the next topic. Then tackling as many past paper exam questions as possible which I believe is the key to mastering GCSE mathematics.

I do online tutoring as I am currently studying and am free any days of the week.
