I have twenty-nine years of outstanding results in UK schools. I am currently a Vice Principal but I’m about to transition to an educational consultant and online tutor. I have advised the government on vocational science teaching, lead science across a Multi-Academy Trust and marked and even written science exams.

Availability: Very flexible. I am open to work during the week from early morning until evening.

I will be able to do some work on weekends, particularly as we get nearer to exam season.

Experience: I have had twenty nine years teaching experience in secondary schools. I have taught A-level Physics, Physics GCSE and Science GCSE extensively. I have also taught maths to Foundation GCSE level, Computer Science GCSE and the Physics elements of the International Baccalaureate.

I have had considerable experience of synchronous and asynchronous online tutoring during the COVID pandemic. As I move toward full time tutoring and educational consultancy I am being guided by a highly experience ‘Super Tutor’ and I am already adept at techniques for collaborative ‘whiteboard’ work integrated with presentations, animations etc to give a smooth, supportive and resource rich experience that is tailored to the needs of pupils.

I have just started mentoring my first A-level Physics student online using BitPaper and Zoom.

I have tutored face to face earlier in my career.
