Information about Craig
Since leaving university, I have worked full time for IBM, as a software engineer. Working for IBM has afforded me the opportunity to work with the local community and specifically with schools, on various projects, for example running business type games, education on programming languages, using Microsoft Excel, and running Mathematics "Masterclasses" at GCSE level.
I am a firm believer that teaching is a two way street. It is not the job of the teacher just to teach, and it is not the job of the student to just learn. Teaching is not a one size fits all solution, it requires a cohesive partnership between teacher and student to find and identify the methods of teaching that work for the individual, whether that be through reading a book, practical examples or a combination of .
I will provide support during tutoring sessions as well as ad-hoc email support whenever required.

Craig was very helpful for our child. He has lots of patience and our sons grades were better. Thank you Craig. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Always arrives when agreed, is happy to run slightly over time to complete an example without further charge and tries different methods to re-enforce learning. We have only had 3 sessions, but are very pleased with Craig and are happy to recommend for GCSE math.
