Information about Connie
I am an approachable, friendly tutor and have worked with children and adults of varying ability in order to assist learners with their education. Not long out of education myself, I appreciate the stress many pupils feel due to their learning. Due to this I believe it is crucial to assess, create and tailor realistic expectations, with the student and their families, so every learner will not only achieve their academic goals but also enjoy their subject!
Willing to travel although needs to be accessible by public transport. Also happy to `meet in the middle` somewhere, at a library of coffee shop. Would be willing to negotiate price around travel costs.
Availability: Evenings Monday - Friday work best.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I have a masters degree in Education and Psychology from the University of Cambridge and a bachelors degree in Education (Psychology) from the University of Durham.
I have been a Maths Intervention Specialist and Teaching Assistant at a primary school from 2016-2017 and although my experience lies predominantly with Mathematics, I have also delivered several other intervention programmes, including spelling, handwriting, phonics and reading.
