Experience: After attaining my degree in English Literature, I went onto complete my teacher training at The University of Cambridge.
I have received excellent training from leaders in their fields at the Faculty of Education that has provided me with in depth knowledge of how to teach the new curriculum effectively.
I have been taught innovative and inspiring methods of teaching English and Maths to really engage children, develop intellectual curiosity and help them achieve their full potential.
My training in Mathematics has emphasised the importance of the Mastery approach that provides children with a deep, long-term, secure and adaptable understanding of the subject. By using this approach in my teaching of Maths, I encourage pupils to develop their fluency, confidence to reason mathematically and the ability to apply maths to solve problems and to test hypotheses.
My passion and interest for education and Literacy lead me to complete a Masters of Education at Cambridge University. My research focussed on aspects of the English and PSHE curriculum.
