Information about Jay
Hi, my name is Jay and I am a PhD student in International Security at [contact detail removed]. I have previous experience teaching guitar (I have been playing for 12 years), tutoring Russian students and mentoring first year undergraduates. I have a Masters Degree in International Relations from the University of Liverpool, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics and International Relations from the University of London, A-Levels in English Literature, History and Religious Studies and 9 GCSEs, including an A in Maths, English Literature and English Language. I am able to teach a variety of academic subjects at GCSE and A-Level, and I can tutor undergraduate Politics and International Relations. If you want to learn guitar, I can cater to all kinds of guitar players, whether you want to learn electric, acoustic, blues, rock or pop. I believe that the best way to learn is through doing and this is why I encourage all of my students to realise their full potential through fun and engaging activities which help you to learn and retain information. Whether you are studying for your GCSEs, guitar grades or just want to become the next Jimi Hendrix (or all three!), I can guarantee that I am the perfect tutor for you!

He is a very good tutor, very personable. He will listen to what your child needs and works from there.

Jay is an excellent tutor. He adapts his learning style to suit the needs of his pupil. He is warm and welcoming and provides a comfortable learning environment for his pupil and, the parent or adult accompanying! He is also flexible, for example, if we decide to swap an English lesson for a guitar lesson he is happy to do so. As Jay is a young male, many pupils will find him more relatable and therefore, easier to build a professional relationship with which is an important factor in this field. I couldn`t praise him more!
