Information about Sara
I love A level Maths and am passionate about helping students fulfil their potential with the subject. I have a first class maths degree and PGCE from the University of Warwick. For 15 years, leaving in 2017, I taught A level Maths and Further Maths at a large sixth form college. I am now concentrating on supporting students one-to-one and believe that my class room experience means I can clearly explain the content and help students identify the barriers they have to achieving their best result.
I am happy to tutor at my home (£30/hr) or at the students home or other agreed venue (£40/hr). For example students at Peter Symonds College may be able to walk to Winchester Discovery Centre in a free period and students at Barton Peveril College to Eastleigh Library. I am also able to offer tutoring online if desired.
I am very happy to help with A level Math and Further Maths.
I can assist with preparation for the maths competency test for teacher training.

Sara has really helped my son with his A-Level maths. She has a very good understanding of the subject matter and is able to explain it in a way he can understand. I would definitely recommend her.
