Hello!
I am originally from Italy, where I got my university degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures, but I have been living in the UK in the last 10 years.
I am fluent in Italian, English, French and Spanish. I have always been passionate about foreign languages and cultures, that`s why I decided to focus my university studies on them, and I have also done independent learning, by reading books, watching videos and travelling to the countries where the languages are spoken.
I have worked as and English as a Foreign Language teacher in several schools in Cambridge, and I also worked in mainstream education as a teaching assistant (I supported children with autism, ADHD, dyslexia and other SEN) and as a MFL teacher (French and Spanish).
Alongside these work experiences, I have also done private tutoring of Italian and French (both online and in person).

Experience: My teaching experiences started in 2018, when I earned a CELTA certificate in Cambridge for teaching English as a Foreign Language. This allowed me to have teaching experiences in English schools such as Studio Cambridge, EC English and Regent Cambridge.
Subsequently I decided to focus on mainstream education, where I started to work as a teaching assistant first, and afterwards I completed my PGCE with King`s College London (for the academic year 2020-21), in order to teach French and Spanish in secondary school. I then worked as Spanish and French teacher in a secondary school in the East of London.
In all the lessons I plan, I always prepare activities with the right level of challenge, and I identify students` strengths and weaknesses, so they can make progress. When I teach, I tend to create an environment where making mistakes is part of learning and I promote curiosity about the structure of the language and the culture of the country. I also enjoy creating my own resources and I take into consideration the students` abilities and any prior knowledge.
