Hello!

My name is Ségolène - I am French currently studying in an MA of Text and Performance in London at RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts) on a part-time basis.

I worked as a private tutor in France and Germany for seven years before moving to the UK to carry on with my studies. I taught english, french, german, and offered vocal/organizational coaching and tutoring support to a wide range of students: my youngest pupils were aged 7/8 years old, and my oldest 16/17 years old.

I am passionate about drama, writing, culture, languages and arts in general. As well as having allowed me to become completely fluent in three European languages (French, German, English), my curiosity and personal interest have given me the opportunity to build myself a strong knowledge of the world of education, translation, writing, communication and marketing.

Experience: As mentioned in my descri ption, I worked as a private tutor in France and Germany for seven years before moving to the UK to carry on with my studies. I also taught French to German-speakers in Switzerland as part of a linguistic summer camp organised near Vevey to a class of 15 pupils form various background and level, and have kept good relations with all my former pupils, who I am proud to say, have made amazing progress following the course.

I have successfully achieved an MA in International Journalism, and an MA in International Public Relations and Global Communications Management at JOMEC Cardiff University. These courses have enhanced my well-rounded written and verbal communication skills. As part of these courses, I have written essays, produced newspaper, magazine, and online articles and campaigns alongside newsletters and press releases for a wide range of audiences.

I have also prepared reports on communication and marketing issues for many companies and organisations, such as Starbucks and the British Red Cross, and have been gathering more experience recently as a freelance researcher for Askew International Research Ltd.
