I am a very passionate Computer Science teacher with experience of working in various secondary schools. I have been teaching 6+ years and is currently now working in a high performing secondary school in London. Having graduated fromUniversity of Hull with a BSc in Computer Science, my passion for teaching drove me to continue my journey with TeachFirst to complete my PGCE in Computer Science with Birmingham City University. Outside of teaching, I also have industry experience having worked as an intern in Google. This has enabled me to develop industry links and also being able to understand what the industry is looking for when it comes to application for apprenticeships and level 3 qualifications (6th form and colleges).

Availability: I am available all weekday from 17:30 until midnight. I can also do Saturday and Sundays 08:00 am until 21:00 pm.

Experience: I have experience teaching a range of exam boards including OCR, Edexcel and AQA. I can teach you content including systems architecture, memory, storage, wired and wireless networks, network topologies protocols and layers, system security, system software, ethical, legal, cultural and environmental concerns, algorithms and programming techniques to producing robust programs, computational logic, translators and facilities of languages and data representation. With NEA being a requirement and also a very good tool to develop programming skills, I can go through with you the programming techniques you need before developing your solution to a scenario using the application development life cycle including analysis, design, development, testing and evaluation. The programming language I specialise in is Python, as this being what most schools use. It is a great gateway language into A level Computer Science if that is your intention. I am part of the teaching and learning team at the current school as I have an effective teaching methodology which has proved to be very effective. This is evident in my results as they are outstanding, and I have great expertise in understanding mark schemes for examinations.
