Information about Sarah
I`m an experienced fully qualified science teacher, who has also spent some time teaching in a special educational needs school. I can teach all the sciences at GCSE level and below, and A-level Chemistry and Biology. I can also teach GCSE maths and below. As well as Geology up to degree level.
I changed to tutoring instead of full time teaching as it fits in better with family life, and I plan to continue tutoring until my children are enrolled in primary school.
I also work part time for Women into Science and Engineering (WISE). WISE inspires girls and women to study and build careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). We advise organisations on how to create environments where those women can do their best work and thrive.
Availability: I am on maternity leave so am unavailable to tutor at the moment.
Willing to travel: 8 miles
Experience: Fully qualified and experienced science teacher, have also worked as a special educational needs teacher.

Sarah is a lovely quietly spoken lady. She helped my granddaughter during the Easter holidays with her biology, chemistry and physics GCSE revision.
She devised 3 power point papers with all the important information to be used whilst
my granddaughter does her own revision before the exams.
We found the help Sarah gave invaluable, I
just wish my granddaughter lived closer to Sarah so she could help her with Maths as well. Great teacher. Thank you Sarah

I contacted Sarah to help my daughter with her GCSE Science as she was failing at the subject. In a period of only a few months, Sarah developed such a rapport and understanding of my daughters learning needs that she has managed to turn a D grade student into a B grade student. My daughter has so much more confidence now and is going from strength to strength in what she found to be a very difficult subject. Sarah also identified a further need for Maths support and is attaining similar results. I would wholeheartedly recommend Sarah. My daughter doesn`t hate Science any more!
