I`m a fully qualified, full time maths teacher at an outstanding academy school in Richmond. I have a total of four years qualified teaching experience, all in outstanding schools. I teach all abilities from year 7 to year 11. During the 2015/16 academic year I taught Set 3 year 11 in a department which achieved our best ever results of 87% A*- C.

During 2015/16 I also taught Set 1 the "new" maths GCSE (graded 9-1). These two classes achieved outstanding results (34 Grade 9s out of 64) in a national PiXL mock and will complete the new GCSE, along with AQA Additional Maths with me as the teacher in 2016/17.

I have exceptional knowledge of the challenging new GCSE syllabus and have a thorough understanding of how to guide students to success in this new framework. A tutor who has not fully experienced the demands and rigour of the new maths GCSE, is unlikely to appreciate the significant changes.

I am also Head of Key Stage 3 within my department and can therefore teach KS2 and KS3 very effectively.

I graduated from the University of York in 2005 and spent 6 years working as a Chartered Accountant in London. My hobbies include triathlon, surfing and skiing.

My rate is £50 per hour. I tend to drive to clients` homes. I teach in Richmond and live near Wimbledon so I will consider clients anywhere near either of these locations.
