Information about Sangwani
My name is Sang and I am an Embedded Engineer who works in Product Development and IP (Intellectual Property) Professions. I tutor in my spare time and specialise in Mathematics, Science, History and Electronics. I have been a GCSE, AS & A-level Maths, Physics & History teacher on and off since 2011, and have been offering tuition since then. I became a tutor to help students in my community (most of who couldnt afford a tutor) polish and exceed their predicted grades. I previously found student through notices in libraries and supermarkets, but I`ve only recently registered with Tutorhunt. I mostly work with students in-person, although Im open to tutoring online.
In my spare time I enjoy hiking, cooking, listening to music, listening to podcasts, watching documentaries and volunteering for a Non-profit.
Availability: I am available for both online and in person 1-to-1 or 1-to-2 sessions.
If you prefer an online lesson, I own Audio-Visual equipment that enables seamless delivery of online lessons.
Please message me for your availability, and I will endeavour to accommodate your specific circumstances.

Experience: Identifying the areas where a student needs help requires patience combined with technique. And not all students require the same approach. Some students struggle with specific areas because they have not grasped certain hacks which simplify mathematical or scientific problems or questions. At other times insufficient confidence may be the stumbling block. Or it can be a case of helping them develop a habit of checking their work line by line after completing a question. At times the classroom environment may be unsuitable to their speed of comprehension. And in some cases, the student just likes to chat with their classmates (or their attention was misplaced) when the teacher was teaching something they needed to understand. In all these cases some weekly support can go a long way.
My Undergraduate degree in Electronic & Communications Engineering where I studied a range of topics from Engineering Mathematics, Signal processing; Fields, Waves & Antennas; Electromagnetics; Microwaves & Optics, Electric Circuits & Integrated Engineering among other modules has given me a strong scientific understanding and approach and re-enforced my understanding of common principles in Physics & Mathematics. Such depth of knowledge is key to enabling my students have a better grasp (above-average) in understanding of Physics / Mathematical principles, be it at GCSE or A-level.
Similarly, I spent 8 years studying History and is a keen scholar of European and American history.
Finally, I run a small consultancy that helps inventors and small businesses bring their products to life, from idea conception to merchantable prototype.
