I am a qualified maths teacher with over ten years teaching experience. I work in a secondary school as well as being a private tutor. I teach all years groups and abilities. I normally tutor in my house but since March 2020 have been tutoring online using the zoom platform. I am friendly, flexible and highly committed to my job. I am passionate about my subject and I believe that with the right approach everybody can make progress and realise their potential in mathematics.
I can also teach Italian to school children, sixth formers or adults wanting to smarten up their language skills before a visit to my wonderful country.
Availability: Few available slots for the 22/23 school year.

Experience: I have a degree in Mathematics and qualified as a teacher in 2009. I have worked as a Mathematics Teacher in comprehensive schools where I thought then full spectrum of abilities in the Y7 to Y11 classes, as well as Gcse retake classes and A level core mathematics. I was GCSE Post 16 Coordinator and as such I looked after Post 16 students who continued to study maths in order to improve their maths GCSE grade.
I have extensive experience of working on a one to one basis or in small groups with secondary school students as well as adults.
I am a tutor for the NEC and work as an examiner for AQA and Edexcel marking GCSE and A level maths papers.

First of all, I would like to thank "Tutor Hunt website" for their amazing support and services to the Parents to find excellent Tutors. Without "Tutor Hunt website", we wouldn`t have find such Excellent & Professional Tutors. Our Son finished his Honours Degree from University of Cambridge, thanks to the Tutors of "Tutor Hunt website". Ms Stefania`s manner of tutoring is without a doubt Motivational, Confident and Friendly on top of her Professionalism. She has been very Patient and always Supportive to our Daughter and us plus, keeps everyone updated for our Daughter`s hankerings because of her updated knowledge of the Academic Systems. She has been great at building confidence and keeping lessons fun which has improved our daughter`s conversation, writing, and reading skills. Building Confidence and will power are road to success for any Students which doesn`t come in a day and takes time with support which Ms Stefania is good at for our Daughter. My son is enjoying his Maths lessons with Ms. Stefania. She is very knowledgeable and was able to workout a learning strategy that works for my son.

My son only did a few short weeks with Stefania before Covid came upon us but in that time, she hugely improved his confidence in maths. The one to one learning was a real boost to him and one I would recommend.
