A 42 years old private tutor of GCSE Accounting, AAT Level 2 and Italian A Levels/GCSE/IB with a passion for languages (English, Italian), teaching, travelling, opera and literature. Among my qualifications are a 1:1 Degree in Modern Languages (Italian and English)and a professional qualification in Accounting and Bookkeeping (AAT Level 2).

Private tutoring had always been a part time job I enjoyed aside from any other job I had been undertaking full time as enrolment officer in the past and as Bookkeeper within a succesfull SME company in the latest two years.

Due to the current pandemic, at the moment I only provide online lessons (Skype/Face Time/ Zoom) reading through study material I share with the student via email prior to starting the lesson.Therefire please do not contact me if you are seeking fir a tutor visiting you at home or in coffe bars.

Availability: I am available week days (morning/afternoon/evening times) and on Saturdays (morning/afternoon)

Experience: My teaching approach is very flexible as I believe that every student is different and may need support in specific areas (where others may not), which I strive to test and improve as lessons take place.

My aim is to bring students to feel more confident in tackling exercises after few lessons already, by giving them the method to structure their homework and record any doubt to discuss with me in the following lesson. In order to get to this, I make sure every exercise we go through together during the lesson had been fully understood and any doubt clarified so that the student will face easily any homework I will leave- yet related to the same topic studied.
Mock tests are also practised, until the student has gone through any topic proposed successfully.


I also try to inspire students by recommending interesting topics related books to read in their free time, based on their age and interests.
Typically this helps increasing their appreciation for the subject and makes them feel more comfortable to commit to the long year/s of study when that is the case.
