Information about Shaliza
Throughout my educational experience I have been inspired by a handful of teachers who, against all odds, truly strived to make pupils realise their potential not only within the curriculum but also within life. I believe that if it was not for my secondary school teachers who saw potential within me, and gave me a realisation of it I would never be where I am today. I have seen the difference a great teacher can make to someone`s life, both by developing a pupil`s individual interest and by being a supportive, non-judgmental role-model.
Now the time has come for me to return the favour by doing something that I have always enjoyed, at the same time hopefully contributing to the education of the next generation.

Experience: Gascoigne Primary School
[Jan 18 - current]
I have been a year 5 teacher since I joined Gascoigne. I go above and beyond to differentiate and cater for each child, regardless of ability.
Mayesbrook Park School (Alternative provision) [Jan 13 - Dec 17]
I teach maths and science to secondary students (KS2 to KS4). I teach at all 3 campuses which deal with BESMHD students. So I have experienced and been fortunate to work with very needy and demanding students and I am able to adapt to individual needs.
In between these two schools, I taught in a number of primary schools in Chelmsford as a supply teacher, teaching KS1 and KS2.
Lister Community School [28th Jan 08 - Jan 13]
I a completed my NQT year in Science at Lister Community school in April 09. After having sucessfully completed my PGCE at Emerson Park school, Havering and George Greens school, Tower Hamlets. I have worked as a maths teacher helping pupils to achieve their full potential for 6 months (yr 7-11) after which I transferred to science. (I taught maths because I was covering a 6 month maternity leave) but most importantly I love teaching both Maths and Science.

Shaliza knows her science subjects effortlessly and teaches with confidence . Am so pleased to have her helping my son with his learning gaps as he unfortunately missed the beginning of year nine.

Shaliza started tutoring my 2 kids (6yr old and 10yr old) about 2 months ago. She is quite punctual and thorough with her approach. She is working with them on the points they need help on and I can see the difference.

Mrs Shaliza tutors my granddaughter for chemistry & Physics. Mrs Shaliza is very friendly. My Granddaughter finds her very helpful and thorough helping to fill in the gaps that she has on these subjects.
